From September 1993 until November 1997, I had a somewhat mild case of psoriasis. Then in November of 1997 I developed total body psoriasis. I have spent nearly three (3) thousand plus dollars on treatment, and having no prescription coverage I was very disappointed when none of the treatments worked. This is my first consumer letter but I knew I had to write about your product after my husband had used it for two weeks.

I am writing to you in regard to your MG217 products, specifically the MG217 Medicated Tar Ointment and MG217 Medicated Tar Shampoo with conditioners. I have had Psoriasis for at least 23 years and over the years have been to numerous dermatologists who have prescribed different medications. For the past three years I have been using the MG217 Medicated Tar Ointment on my skin. I have not had to be seen by a physician nor had to use any other prescription because my condition has improved to the point where it is almost nonexistent. The ointment relieves not only the dryness, but also the itching, scaling and redness.

In the past I used Neutrogena Therapeutic T/Gel Shampoo. It was expensive but kept the dandruff in check. However, I have found that with the colder weather, my scalp had gotten very itchy and flaky. The Neutrogena shampoo just wasn't working well enough. So, I purchased the MG217 shampoo with the expectation that it would work as well as the ointment. I am more than pleased! It has not only taken care of the itchiness and flaking, it is fantastic for my hair! It leaves my hair soft and healthy -- better than my regular shampoo and conditioner. Plus, it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg to buy it.

I developed psoriasis a little over two years ago.
Unaware of what my problem was I realized I needed to see a Dermatologist where my condition was diagnosed after a biopsy as psoriasis..
Through the next six months I made twelve (12) visits to the Dermatologist trying all the different steroid creams, only to have my condition worsen. The only treatment that could bring me any relief were the coal tar baths, which are very messy and smell bad.

First, I want you to know how much I like MG217 Medicated Tar Lotion for Psoriasis.
I have had psoriasis for about fifteen (15) years and have tried many different kinds of topical applications for psoriasis, only to find that after awhile they become less effective and some don't work at all!
